Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BW Developer with strong expertise in SAP BW on HANA/BW4HANA, SAP BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end data warehousing, data modeling, ETL development, reporting, and SAP HANA-based analytics solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions supporting critical business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. SAP BW / BW4HANA Development :

- Design, develop, and implement robust SAP BW on HANA and BW4HANA solutions for complex business requirements.

- Develop and maintain enterprise data warehouse models using :

1. InfoObjects

2. ADSOs (Advanced Data Store Objects)

3. Composite Providers

4. MultiProviders

5. Open ODS Views

6. InfoProviders.

- Create scalable and reusable data models aligned with business and reporting requirements.

- Optimize existing BW models for improved system performance and data quality.

2. Data Integration & ETL Development :

- Manage end-to-end data flows from SAP and non-SAP source systems.

- Design and develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

- Build and maintain : 1. DataSources 2. Transformations 3. DTPs (Data Transfer Processes) 4. Process Chains 5. Data Staging Layers.

- Implement complex transformation logic and harmonization processes.

- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and governance across multiple source systems.

3. Reporting & Analytics :

- Design and optimize BEx Queries for business reporting needs.

- Support reporting and analytics solutions using : 1. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) 2. Analysis for Office (AO) 3. SAP BW Reporting Tools.

- Develop and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and KPIs.

- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and deliver meaningful insights.

4. SAP BW-IP & Planning Solutions :

- Develop and support SAP BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP) applications.

- Configure planning functions, planning sequences, and aggregation levels.

- Implement planning models and forecasting solutions.

- Support planning processes and performance optimization activities.

5. SAP HANA & ABAP Development :

- Develop ABAP routines within BW transformations.

- Create and enhance : 1. User Exits 2. Customer Exits 3. Start/End/Expert Routines 4. ABAP CDS Views.

- Support HANA-optimized data models and push-down concepts.

- Work with virtual data models (VDMs) and advanced HANA capabilities.

6. SAP S/4HANA Integration :

- Work extensively with SAP S/4HANA source systems.

- Understand S/4HANA architecture, business processes, and table structures.

- Integrate BW solutions with S/4HANA operational and analytical data models.

- Leverage standard extractors, CDS Views, and VDMs for data acquisition.

7. Upgrade, Migration & Optimization :

- Participate in SAP BW to BW4HANA migration projects.

- Perform system upgrades, conversions, and landscape modernization initiatives.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities across BW and HANA environments.

- Ensure smooth migration of reporting, data models, and ETL processes.

8. Support & Governance :

- Provide production support and resolve critical incidents.

- Troubleshoot data load failures, reporting issues, and performance bottlenecks.

- Maintain technical documentation, design documents, and deployment procedures.

- Follow SAP development standards, security guidelines, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills :

1. Mandatory Skills :

- SAP BW Integrated Planning (BW-IP), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW4HANA, and SAP S/4HANA Integration.

3. Additional Preferred Skills :

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 8-12 years of experience in SAP BW/BW4HANA development.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW-IP and SAP SAC implementations.

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics and reporting solutions.

- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA integrated landscapes.

- Experience in BW migration and upgrade projects.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
