Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BTP Integration Consultant to join our consulting team. In this role, you will architect, design, develop, and maintain robust integration scenarios across cloud and on-premise ecosystems.

Your primary focus will be leveraging SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration - CPI) along with advanced scripting (Groovy, XSLT) to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance interfaces. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to explore and implement emerging SAP technologies, including CloudALM, SAP Build, and SAPs AI assistant, Joule.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Development & Implementation :

- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) using SAP BTP CPI (Integration Suite) for Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-On-Premise scenarios.

- Write custom, highly optimized scripts using Groovy Scripting and XSLT mappings to handle complex data transformations, exception handling, and message routing.

- Configure standard SAP adapters (such as IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, OData, SFTP, SuccessFactors, and Ariba) and implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, Certificate-based).

- Conduct rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and payload monitoring of integration interfaces.

BTP Ecosystem Evolution & Deployment :

- Support the modernization of legacy integration landscapes (e.g., migrating from SAP PI/PO to SAP BTP CPI).

- Align development workflows with modern delivery methodologies using SAP CloudALM, ChaRM, or Agile frameworks.

- Collaborate with enterprise architects to explore and integrate next-generation SAP BTP capabilities, including SAP Build (low-code/no-code), Workzone, and Joule (SAPs AI assistant).

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure technical integration specifications.

- Provide technical guidance and best-practice recommendations for "Clean Core" architecture by decoupling systems via APIs and event-driven architectures.

Candidate Profile & Skill Matrix :

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- SAP BTP CPI : Extensive, hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying integrations on the SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Platform Integration.

- Scripting & Mapping : Strong expertise in Groovy Scripting and XSLT for advanced message mapping and custom logic.

- API & Security : Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, OData services, and integration security protocols (SSL, SSH, PGP, OAuth).

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferred) :

- Legacy Integration : Prior development experience in SAP PI/PO (Process Integration / Process Orchestration).

- Application Lifecycle : Experience with transport management and project governance via ChaRM, CloudALM, or Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Extended BTP Services : Exposure to broader BTP capabilities such as SAP Build, SAP Build Workzone, Event Mesh, or API Management.

- Next-Gen Tech : Familiarity with SAP Joule or integrating AI-driven features within the SAP landscape.
