Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BTP AI Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP AI services, Generative AI, and enterprise integration, enabling organizations to transition AI use cases from pilot to production-grade deployments.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SAP AI Foundation, Generative AI Hub, Document AI, and modern AI architectures such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI agents, along with a solid understanding of clean core principles and extensibility in SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

AI Solution Design & Development :

- Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions using SAP BTP AI services.

- Build and deploy applications using :

1. SAP AI Foundation

2. SAP Generative AI Hub

3. SAP Document AI

- Develop intelligent automation use cases such as :

1. Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

2. Chatbots and virtual assistants

3. AI-powered workflows

4. Predictive analytics and recommendations

Generative AI & Advanced Architectures :

- Design and implement RAG-based architectures integrating enterprise data sources.

- Develop and orchestrate AI agents for business process automation.

- Integrate LLMs via SAP Generative AI Hub or external providers (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.).

- Optimize prompts, embeddings, and vector search strategies.

Integration & Extensibility :

- Build integrations using :

1. SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

2. OData services

3. RESTful APIs

- Integrate AI solutions with SAP and non-SAP systems such as :

1. SAP S/4HANA

2. SAP SuccessFactors

3. OpenText Extended ECM

- Apply event-driven architecture using SAP Event Mesh where applicable.

Clean Core & Architecture :

- Design solutions aligned with SAP Clean Core principles.

- Leverage :

1. Side-by-side extensibility on BTP

2. APIs instead of core modifications

- Define scalable, reusable AI architecture frameworks.

Security, Governance & Compliance :

- Implement enterprise-grade security models including :

1. Authentication & Authorization (OAuth2, IAS/IPS)

2. Role-based access control

- Ensure data privacy compliance (GDPR, enterprise policies).

- Establish AI governance frameworks, including model monitoring and explainability.

Deployment & Operations :

- Build CI/CD pipelines for AI applications.

- Monitor AI models and applications for :

1. Performance

2. Drift

3. Accuracy

- Ensure high availability and scalability of deployed services.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience :

SAP & BTP Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with :

1. SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma environments)

2. SAP AI Foundation

3 SAP Generative AI Hub

4. SAP Document AI

- Experience with SAP Extension Suite and Integration Suite.

AI / ML & Generative AI :

- Practical experience with :

1. Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering)

2. RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks

3. Vector databases (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud Vector Engine or others)

- Understanding of :

1. NLP concepts

2. Embeddings and semantic search

3. AI agent frameworks

Programming Skills :

Proficiency in :

- Python (preferred for AI/ML development)

- JavaScript / Node.js (for BTP applications)

- Experience with AI/ML libraries (optional but preferred) :

- LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.

Integration & APIs :

- Strong experience with :

1. OData services

2. REST APIs

3. API management

- Experience integrating SAP with third-party platforms.

Architecture & Best Practices

- Deep understanding of :

Document Management Integration

- Experience integrating with :

1. OpenText Extended ECM (preferred)

Nice-to-Have Skills :
