Job Title : SAP BTP CAPM Developer (Node.js)

About the Role

We are hiring for a leading enterprise client seeking a skilled SAP BTP CAPM Developer to build scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications.

This role focuses on developing backend services using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js, along with workflow automation and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BTP Application Development :

- Design and develop applications using SAP CAP (Node.js).

- Build and maintain CDS data models, annotations, and service layers.

- Develop and expose OData services.

- Implement business logic using Node.js following best practices.

Data & Persistence :

- Manage data persistence using PostgreSQL or equivalent databases.

- Optimize data models and queries for performance.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency.

Workflow Automation :

- Design workflows using SAP Build Process Automation (BPA).

- Integrate workflows with CAP-based services.

- Automate business processes and improve efficiency.

Security & Access Control :

- Configure authentication and authorization.

- Implement role-based access control (RBAC).

- Ensure secure API exposure and compliance with enterprise standards.

Integration & Architecture :

- Build API-driven solutions and integrate with external systems.

- Work with REST and OData-based integrations.

- Follow cloud-native and microservices architecture principles.

Internationalization :

- Implement i18n (internationalization) for multi-language support.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in SAP BTP

- Hands-on expertise in SAP CAPM (Node.js)

- Experience with CDS Views / Data Modeling

- Strong knowledge of OData Development

- Proficiency in Node.js

- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases

- Understanding of API-driven architecture

Nice to Have :

- Experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA)

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori / UI5

- Exposure to cloud security and IAM concepts

- Experience in Agile environments
