SAP BTP/CAPM Consultant

Description :

We are seeking an experienced ABAP BTP CAPM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP BTP technologies, and CAPM-based application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, migrations, and support projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge of classical ABAP, S/4HANA technical components, RAP, CDS, APIs, and SAP BTP services.

The candidate should be capable of designing scalable SAP solutions, integrating backend systems, and delivering high-quality technical developments aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP solutions.

- Work on all RICEFW objects :

i. Reports

ii. Interfaces

iii. Conversions

iv. Enhancements

v. Forms

vi. Workflows

- Develop and enhance classical and interactive reports.

- Build custom programs using OOABAP concepts.

SAP BTP & CAPM Development :

- Develop applications using SAP BTP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model).

- Build cloud-native services and applications integrated with SAP backend systems.

- Work with SAP Business Application Studio and BTP services.

- Develop REST/OData-based applications on SAP BTP.

S/4HANA Technical Development :

- Develop CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-optimized solutions.

- Work on RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).

- Optimize custom developments for S/4HANA migration and performance.

Integration & Interfaces :

- Create and consume :

i. OData Services

ii. APIs

iii. BAPI

iv. RFC

v. IDOCs

vi. ABAP Proxies

- Handle third-party integrations with SAP systems.

Enhancements & Forms :

- Work on :

i. BADI

ii. User Exits

iii. Enhancement Framework

iv. Implicit / Explicit Enhancements

- Develop SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms.

Support & Troubleshooting :

- Perform debugging and root cause analysis.

- Resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Implement SAP Notes and support packs.

- Schedule and monitor background jobs.

Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with functional consultants in :

i. SD

ii. MM

iii. PS

iv. FI

v. CO

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills :

Mandatory :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP

- Experience in SAP BTP CAPM (Mandatory)

- Expertise in RICEFW developments

- Strong knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, RAP

- Experience in APIs, OData, RFC, BAPI, IDOCs

- Debugging and performance tuning skills

- SAP Script / Smart Forms / Adobe Forms

- OOABAP concepts

- Enhancement Framework

Good to Have :

- SAP Fiori/UI5 knowledge

- SAP Workflow experience

- Public Cloud / Private Cloud exposure

- S/4HANA migration project experience

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 69 years of SAP technical consulting experience

- Good communication and client-facing skills

- Ability to work independently and in team environments

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience in Agile / Waterfall methodologies
