We are hiring for our client, who is one of the largest German IT consulting and service companies with excellent growth prospects.

Experience: 5 - 10 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement backend services using the CAP framework on SAP BTP.

- Develop robust data models with Core Data Services (CDS) and create OData services for frontend integration.

- Optimize and manage databases, particularly SAP HANA, for enhanced performance.

- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using the SAP Integration Suite.

- Develop and maintain APIs for seamless system communication.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms via XSUAA.

- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and corporate security policies.

- Perform unit and integration testing to guarantee application reliability.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues in both development and production environments.

- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UX designers, and various stakeholders.

- Document the development lifecycle, including design decisions and user guides.

- Conceptualize, design, and implement modern microservice architectures on SAP BTP.

- Develop custom software solutions, continuously optimizing for performance and scalability.

- Manage projects from initial idea to successful go-live, leveraging a deep understanding of SAP BTP.

- Conduct requirements analysis, technical design, and quality assurance for various software projects.

Your profile:

- Strong experience developing backends for web-based, scalable systems on SAP BTP with Java, JavaScript and optionally TypeScript.

- Extensive experience with databases (particularly SAP HANA) and frameworks, with specific knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Integration Suite.

- Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices on SAP BTP, including side-by-side extensions.

- SAP certifications such as SAP Certified Development Associate SAP HANA Cloud or SAP BTP Extension Developer are a plus.
