SAP BTP & AI Technical Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP & AI Technical Lead with 8-10 years of SAP technical experience and hands-on expertise in modern SAP development frameworks. The ideal candidate should have functional knowledge in SAP BTP, ABAP, RAP, CAP, and SAP Fiori/UI5, along with exposure to Generative AI and intelligent application development.

The role involves designing, developing, and implementing AI-enabled SAP solutions, cloud-native extensions, and enterprise applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will collaborate with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and innovative SAP solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- SAP BTP & Application Development :

i. Design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications and extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

ii. Build scalable and secure business applications using :

a. SAP BTP

b. SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

c. SAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

d. SAP Fiori/UI5

iii. Develop reusable services, APIs, and integration components supporting enterprise applications.

iv. Contribute to application architecture, development standards, and technical best practices.

- AI & Intelligent Application Development :

i. Support the design and implementation of AI-powered business applications within SAP landscapes.

ii. Integrate SAP applications with Generative AI services and enterprise AI platforms.

iii. Participate in developing AI-enabled use cases such as intelligent assistants, copilots, workflow automation, and knowledge search solutions.

iv. Work with technologies such as :

a. Large Language Models (LLMs)

b. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

c. AI Agents

d. Prompt Engineering

e. AI Orchestration Frameworks

- Integration & Enterprise Connectivity :

i. Develop integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, SAP Integration Suite, and event-driven architectures.

ii. Build and consume RESTful services and cloud-native integration solutions.

iii. Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end business processes.

- Technical Leadership :

i. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to development teams.

ii. Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and architecture governance activities.

iii. Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

iv. Support project delivery, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8-10 years of experience in SAP development and enterprise application delivery.

- Functional knowledge in :

i. SAP ABAP

ii. SAP BTP

iii. SAP RAP

iv. SAP Fiori/UI5

- Experience with SAP CAP and cloud-native application development.

- Hands-on experience developing applications and extensions on SAP BTP.

- Experience with API-based integrations and SAP Integration Suite.

- Exposure to Generative AI concepts and AI-enabled application development.

- Understanding of :

i. Large Language Models (LLMs)

ii. RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

iii. Prompt Engineering

iv. AI Agents

- Strong knowledge of SAP integration architecture and modern development practices.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
