SAP Basis Lead/Architect (8-12 Years)

As a seasoned SAP Basis professional, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust SAP landscapes, with a strong focus on S/4HANA and SAP HANA environments. This role involves daily administration, performance tuning, system upgrades, and critical support activities. You will collaborate closely with clients, functional consultants, technical teams, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and successful project delivery. Your expertise will directly impact business continuity, system performance, and user satisfaction, enabling organizations to leverage their SAP investments to their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and other SAP components, for various clients to ensure optimal system health and availability.

- Drive and execute SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrade projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

- Perform advanced SAP HANA database administration, including monitoring, backup/recovery, performance optimization, and troubleshooting, to maintain data integrity and system efficiency.

- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for system monitoring, performance tuning, and disaster recovery, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to minimize business disruption.

- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance for complex SAP Basis issues, working closely with functional and development teams to ensure timely resolution and root cause analysis.

- Ensure strict adherence to SAP security best practices, compliance standards, and internal policies across all managed systems, safeguarding critical business data and infrastructure.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP Basis administration across various SAP components, with significant hands-on experience in S/4HANA and SAP HANA database management.

- Proven ability to lead and successfully deliver end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, and migration projects, including OS/DB migrations and cloud integrations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues efficiently under pressure.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders, presenting technical solutions, and managing client expectations.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are highly advantageous.

- Adaptability to work in dynamic project environments across multiple locations in India, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to challenges.
