Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Consultant to join our technology team in Thane, Mumbai. In this role, you will serve as the technical backbone for our complex SAP landscape, ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our mission-critical systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional project teams, infrastructure architects, and business stakeholders to drive seamless SAP implementations and migrations.

Your expertise will directly influence the operational efficiency of our enterprise systems, ensuring that our SAP S/4 HANA and IS-Retail environments deliver optimal value to our end-users and support our long-term business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and execute complex SAP S/4 HANA migrations and implementations to ensure a stable and scalable transition for our business units.

- Manage end-to-end SAP Basis operations, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, to maintain peak system health for our global users.

- Lead technical upgrades and support package implementations to keep our SAP IS-Retail landscape compliant and feature-rich.

- Collaborate with database administrators and infrastructure teams to optimize HANA database performance, ensuring rapid data processing for critical business reporting.

- Establish robust disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard enterprise data and ensure business continuity across all SAP modules.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing SAP S/4 HANA environments and complex SAP IS-Retail landscapes, with a proven track record of successful full-cycle implementations.

- Advanced proficiency in SAP Basis administration, including deep technical knowledge of HANA database management, system copies, and landscape optimization.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders and lead technical discussions with internal teams.

- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent problem-solving with collaborative project delivery in our Thane office.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 8 - 12 years of professional experience in large-scale SAP environments.

- Exceptional analytical mindset, capable of diagnosing system bottlenecks and implementing proactive solutions to enhance overall system reliability.
