Role Overview :

As an SAP Basis Consultant at Volto Consulting, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our clients' SAP landscapes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure the stability, performance, and security of SAP systems.

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting S/4HANA conversions, upgrades, and new implementations, directly impacting our clients' ability to leverage SAP for business success.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, and HANA databases, to ensure optimal performance and availability for end-users.

- Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to proactively identify and resolve issues, minimizing disruptions to business operations.

- Manage SAP transports and change management processes to ensure smooth and controlled deployment of changes across the SAP landscape.

- Implement and maintain security measures, including user administration, authorization roles, and security audits, to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.

- Plan and execute SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA conversions(Mandate), working closely with project teams to ensure successful outcomes for our clients.

- Provide technical support and guidance to SAP functional consultants and developers, enabling them to effectively utilize the SAP platform.

- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP Basis procedures and configurations, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency across the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to administer and maintain SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, and HANA databases.

- Proven expertise in SAP Basis activities such as system monitoring, performance tuning, transport management, and security administration.

- Experience in S/4HANA conversion projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.

- Strong understanding of SAP HANA database administration, including backup and recovery, performance optimization, and security.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
