Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, installation, configuration, upgrades, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing SAP landscapes, SAP HANA administration, performance tuning, system refreshes, and high availability environments. The role involves ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of SAP systems while working closely with cross-functional technical and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, and SAP Solution Manager.

- Perform SAP Kernel upgrades, Support Package Stack (SPS) updates, Enhancement Package (EHP) upgrades, and system patching.

- Administer SAP HANA and AnyDB databases to ensure optimal system performance.

- Execute client administration activities, including client copy, export/import, deletion, and client refresh.

- Monitor SAP system health, analyze workloads, and perform performance tuning.

- Manage transport requests and landscape configurations using SAP Transport Management System (STMS).

- Configure and troubleshoot RFC connections, SAP Router, SAP Web Dispatcher, SSL certificates, printers, spool management, and background jobs.

- Perform homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies, system refreshes, and landscape maintenance.

- Configure and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.

- Monitor SAP systems using transaction codes such as ST03N, ST04, DBACOCKPIT, SM50, SM66, SM21, ST22, SM37, and SM12.

- Perform backup, recovery, and database maintenance activities.

- Support SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Solution Manager, and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, operating system, and application teams to resolve technical issues.

- Participate in production support, incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis.

- Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.

- Strong expertise in SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, SAP BW, CRM, PI/PO, and SAP Solution Manager administration.

- Experience with SAP HANA Database Administration and AnyDB environments.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Kernel upgrades, SUM (Software Update Manager), SWPM (Software Provisioning Manager), and SAP Host Agent.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Transport Management System (STMS), client copy, system refresh, and system migration activities.

- Experience configuring SAP Router, SAP Web Dispatcher, SSL certificates, RFCs, and SSO.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and SAP security fundamentals.

- Expertise in system monitoring, workload analysis, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

- Understanding of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and SAP EarlyWatch Reports.

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP System Administration (SAP HANA) or equivalent certification is preferred.

- Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments, automation, and DevOps practices is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and Agile delivery methodologies is desirable.
