- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP products.

- Perform system monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Manage SAP transports, client administration, and system refresh activities.

- Execute SAP upgrades, patches, and kernel updates with minimal downtime.

- Monitor system health and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability.

- Handle user administration, roles, and authorizations in coordination with security teams.

- Perform database administration tasks (backup, recovery, space management) for SAP systems.

- Work closely with functional and technical teams to support SAP applications.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and audit requirements.

- Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.

- Provide on-call support and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 3 to 8 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.

- Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system landscapes, and transport management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA and database administration concepts.

- Experience with OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and database systems (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server).

- Understanding of SAP security concepts and user administration.

- Ability to analyze system logs, dumps, and performance metrics.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Basis or SAP HANA certification.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) hosting SAP systems.

- Exposure to automation tools and scripting (Shell, Python, etc.).

- Knowledge of Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
