Job Description : SAP Basis Administrator with RISE

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with strong expertise in SAP RISE, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and cloud-based SAP environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP BTP services, security, integrations, and cloud-native application support. This role involves managing SAP landscapes, ensuring system security, supporting cloud deployments, and collaborating with development teams to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and maintain SAP landscapes with a focus on SAP RISE and SAP BTP environments.

- Manage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, including Cloud Foundry, Destinations, Event Mesh, and SAP HANA Cloud.

- Perform SAP Basis administration activities such as system monitoring, performance tuning, user administration, transports, and troubleshooting.

- Configure and manage SAP security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

- Support SAP cloud application deployments and lifecycle management.

- Collaborate with development teams to enable SAP CAPM applications and cloud-native development.

- Manage integrations between SAP and third-party applications.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and version control processes.

- Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and ensure high availability of SAP systems.

- Participate in system upgrades, patches, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. SAP Basis Administration :

- 5-7 years of hands-on SAP Basis Administration experience.

- Strong understanding of SAP landscape architecture and administration.

- Experience with SAP RISE environments.

2. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) :

- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA Cloud, Destinations, and Event Mesh.

3. SAP Development & Integration :

- Working knowledge of SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) using Node.js, CDS (Core Data Services) Modeling, OData Services, and REST APIs.

4. SAP Security :

- Strong understanding of XSUAA, OAuth 2.0 Authentication, JWT Authentication, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

5. Development Tools :

- Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), Git, and CI/CD Pipelines.

6. Additional Skills :

- Exposure to SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications.

- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies.

- Experience in cloud-native SAP application environments.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- SAP Basis or SAP BTP certifications are an added advantage.

- Experience with SAP RISE implementation or migration projects is preferred.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
