Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Procurement Functional Lead (8 - 10 years) to lead the functional design, configuration, and support of global procurement processes across SAP Ariba and enterprise ERP landscapes. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I), Guided Buying, approval workflows, buying channels, catalog/non-catalog purchasing, and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA / ECC.

Key Responsibilities :

- Requirement Gathering & Fit-to-Standard : Drive business workshops, translate functional requirements into scalable procurement solutions, and lead fit-to-standard assessments.

- Functional Design & Configuration : Configure and maintain procurement workflows, approval matrices, purchasing policies, forms, buying channels, and user permissions.

- P2P Lifecycle Governance : Own end-to-end Requisition-to-Order and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) design, ensuring master data consistency (supplier, catalog, accounting) across enterprise systems.

- Integration Coordination : Define functional specifications and integration touchpoints across SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Guided Buying, SAP S/4HANA/ECC, SAP MM, and SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI / CIG.

- Testing & Release Management : Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect triage, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.

- Documentation & Governance : Maintain functional specification documents (FSD), process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration workbooks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Overall Experience : 8 - 10 years in enterprise procurement systems or SAP functional consulting, with 5+ years of dedicated SAP Ariba experience.

- Project Lifecycle : Proven experience having delivered at least one full end-to-end implementation or global rollout of SAP Ariba.

- Module Expertise : Strong hands-on functional proficiency in SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (B&I) and Guided Buying.

- Domain Knowledge : Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), catalog and non-catalog purchasing, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice processing.

- Integration Understanding : Clear functional knowledge of Ariba integration with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC (via CIG / SAP Integration Suite), including field mapping, interface error resolution, and troubleshooting downstream SAP MM processes.

- Stakeholder Engagement : Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams, technical integration leads, and key business stakeholders.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Official SAP Ariba Certification.

- Experience with multi-country global rollouts and regional localization rules.

- Working exposure to SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI) / API-driven integration flows.

- Exposure to SAP MM configuration and downstream finance touchpoints.

- UG : Any Graduate (B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / B.Sc / Any Degree)

- PG : Any Postgraduate / Post Graduation Not Required
