SAP APO/DP Lead

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) Lead / SME with 10-12 years of relevant experience to lead end-to-end SAP APO DP implementation and transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in APO DP configuration, solution design, forecasting, planning processes and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other planning systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP APO DP implementations from requirement gathering through solution design, configuration, testing and go-live.

- Independently drive SAP APO Demand Planning as a Lead/SME.

- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and design workshops with business and client stakeholders.

- Translate business requirements into scalable APO DP solutions and functional designs.

- Configure and support APO DP planning processes, including forecasting and demand planning.

- Work extensively with Planning Areas, Planning Books, CVCs, Macros, Alerts and related APO DP functionality.

- Design and implement forecasting and demand-planning solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Support and manage APO BW integration and planning data flows.

- Integrate APO DP with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other enterprise planning systems.

- Lead functional testing, integration testing, UAT, defect resolution and deployment activities.

- Drive go-live preparation, cutover, hypercare and stabilization.

- Work closely with technical teams to resolve integration and data-related issues.

- Manage client communication, stakeholder expectations, risks, dependencies and escalations.

- Provide functional leadership and guidance to APO DP consultants and project teams.

- Prepare functional documentation, solution designs, configuration documents and process documentation.
