Role Overview :

As an SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert, bridging the gap between intricate product configuration requirements and technical SAP solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams and key business stakeholders to design, configure, and deploy robust variant configuration models within S/4HANA environments. Your work will directly influence how our clients manage complex product portfolios, ensuring seamless integration between sales, engineering, and production processes to improve order accuracy and reduce lead times.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end product configuration models using SAP AVC to streamline complex sales and manufacturing processes for global clients.

- Translate intricate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring that configuration profiles, dependencies, and constraints are accurately mapped within the S/4HANA environment.

- Collaborate with the SAP SD and production planning teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration between product configuration and downstream supply chain activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration issues within SAP IPC to maintain system performance and data integrity during the order-to-cash cycle.

- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert guidance on best practices for migrating from legacy Variant Configuration (LO-VC) to modern AVC frameworks.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and maintaining complex product models using SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) and traditional Variant Configuration (LO-VC).

- Proven ability to navigate the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem, with a deep understanding of how configuration impacts SAP SD and production modules.

- Strong technical proficiency in SAP IPC, including the ability to manage pricing, constraints, and user interface configurations for complex product structures.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical configuration logic to non-technical business stakeholders and project managers.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the flexibility to work effectively in remote or distributed team environments across multiple locations in India.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 4 - 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects.
