SAP ABAP/RAP Developer

Role Overview :

As an SAP ABAP Developer with RAP expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications that meet business requirements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' SAP systems, enabling them to achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, to support business processes.

- Design and implement SAP Fiori applications using RAP to provide modern and user-friendly interfaces.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability to ensure efficient system operation.

- Demonstrated proficiency in ABAP programming, including data dictionary objects, ABAP Objects, and debugging techniques.

- Experience in developing SAP Fiori applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Ability to design and implement OData services for data access and integration.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Adaptable to work in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies quickly.
