We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HANA Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and SAP technical development. The ideal candidate should possess a balanced combination of functional knowledge in SAP GTS and technical expertise in SAP ABAP on HANA technologies to support development, enhancements, integrations, and business process optimization.

- The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and implementing SAP GTS-related enhancements and developments.

- The role requires active participation in the complete project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

- The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO), enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.

- Experience working with SAP HANA technologies such as CDS Views, OData Services, and performance optimization techniques is essential.

- A strong understanding of SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) is mandatory.

- The candidate should be familiar with international trade processes, customs management, compliance management, export and import regulations, embargo checks, sanctioned party screening, and trade preference management.

- The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within the SAP GTS environment is highly desirable.

- The role requires experience in developing and supporting SAP applications using Web Dynpro for ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies.

- The candidate should be capable of designing user-friendly applications and integrating frontend solutions with SAP backend systems.

- Exposure to SAP UI5 development and SAP development tools will be considered an added advantage.

- The consultant will work closely with business users, functional consultants, project managers, and technical teams to understand business challenges and deliver scalable, efficient, and maintainable SAP solutions.

- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is critical for success in this role.

- The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be capable of troubleshooting complex technical and functional issues.

- They should be comfortable performing root cause analysis, resolving production incidents, and providing timely support to business users.

- In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should have the ability to manage customer expectations and effectively handle escalations. The role may involve direct interaction with clients and business stakeholders, requiring professionalism, communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.

- The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science principles, software development methodologies, and SAP development best practices.

- Experience working in Agile or SAP implementation environments will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions within SAP GTS and SAP ABAP environments.

- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP developments, enhancements, interfaces, reports, and workflows.

- Develop and optimize SAP HANA artifacts such as CDS Views and OData services.

- Build and support applications using Web Dynpro ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to implement SAP GTS business processes and enhancements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges.

- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.

- Support integration between SAP GTS and other SAP or non-SAP systems.

- Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and development documentation.

- Provide technical guidance and support during project implementation and post-production phases.
