Job Title: SAP ABAP on HANA & SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA & SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer with strong expertise across both backend and frontend SAP development. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in developing scalable SAP applications using ABAP on HANA, SAP Fiori/UI5, OData Services, and modern SAP development frameworks such as RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model).

The role requires a professional who can independently design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications while collaborating closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and enhance custom applications using SAP Fiori/UI5 and ABAP on HANA.

- Build responsive and user-friendly SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML.

- Develop, enhance, and optimize backend objects including Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, Conversions, and Workflows.

- Design, develop, expose, and consume OData Services for seamless communication between SAP backend and Fiori applications.

- Develop applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) following SAP best practices.

- Build cloud-ready applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) where applicable.

- Develop and optimize Core Data Services (CDS Views) for high-performance data retrieval.

- Perform code optimization and leverage SAP HANA capabilities for improved application performance.

- Integrate SAP Fiori applications with backend business logic using complex OData services.

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and defect resolution.

- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture.

- Prepare technical specifications and maintain development documentation.

- Support deployment activities, production issue resolution, and application enhancements.

- Follow SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and security best practices.

Required Experience:

- 6 to 12 years of SAP technical development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA development.

- Extensive experience in custom SAP Fiori/UI5 application development.

- Proven expertise in developing and consuming OData Services.

- Experience with RAP and modern SAP development practices.

- Good understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and optimization techniques.

- Experience in integrating frontend SAP Fiori applications with backend business logic.

- Experience working in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
