Job Title : SAP ABAP/FICO Developer

Experience : 4 - 7 Years

Location : Chennai

Work Mode : Work From Office (5 Days/Week Mandatory)

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days

Interview Mode : Face-to-Face (Mandatory on 18th April)

Travel Requirement : Willingness for a 2-month onsite assignment in Germany

Mandatory Requirement : Valid Passport

Key Responsibilities :

- ABAP Development & Customization

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality ABAP programs in SAP ECC 6.0.

- Develop custom solutions for E-Invoicing implementations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Create and enhance :

1. Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV) :

2. Interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs)

3. Conversions

4. Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, BTEs)

- Perform Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) development for scalable and maintainable solutions.

- Design and develop custom screens and dialog programming where required.

- FI Module & Business Process Support

- Work closely with Finance (FI) module including :

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

3. General Ledger (GL)

- Support and validate AP/AR business processes, ensuring correct system behavior.

- Implement and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems related to financial data exchange.

- Participate in E-Invoicing workflows and integration with statutory systems.

- Forms, Workflows & Enhancements

Design, develop, and maintain :

- Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to development standards.

- Onsite Opportunity (Germany)

Be open to a 2-month onsite assignment in Germany for :

3. Stakeholder collaboration

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (ECC 6.0) with 3+ years of hands-on experience

Proficiency in :

1. Reports (ALV, Classical)

2. Interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs)

3. Enhancements (User Exits, BAdIs, BTEs)

4. OOABAP

Experience in :

1. SMARTFORMS / Adobe Forms

2. SAP Workflows

3. Database design and performance tuning

Functional Knowledge :

- Strong understanding of SAP FI module

Hands-on experience in :

1. Accounts Payable (AP)

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Experience in E-Invoicing projects is highly preferred

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
