SAP ABAP Developer - UI5/Fiori Modules

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that support business operations and strategic initiatives. This role involves full lifecycle development-from requirement analysis and system configuration to coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP (including ABAP OO), SAP FIORI/UI5, and modern SAP development frameworks such as CAP and RAP, along with a solid understanding of SAP architecture and integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP OO

- Configure SAP systems to leverage standard functionality and meet business requirements

- Develop solutions using modern frameworks such as CAP and RAP

- Ensure compliance with architecture and development guidelines

Development & Configuration :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP/ABAP OO

Requirement Analysis & Solution Design :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements

- Translate business needs into technical specifications and design documents

- Act as a technical expert in identifying optimal SAP solutions

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Develop and execute unit and integration test plans

- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure high-quality deliverables

- Perform bug fixes and enhancements on a day-to-day basis

Maintenance & Support :

- Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

- Analyze root causes and deliver timely fixes

- Perform system maintenance, security checks, and performance improvements

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Test Engineers, and Support teams

- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to solution delivery artifacts

- Ensure adherence to change management and release processes

Lifecycle & Governance :

- Manage full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and control standards

- Support deployment and post-go-live activities

Required Skills & Competencies :

- Core Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

i. Strong experience in ABAP / ABAP OO

ii. Hands-on experience with SAP FIORI and UI5

iii. Solid programming and technical background

iv. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- SAP & Development Expertise :

i. SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

ii. CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
