Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development for HANA Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, performance optimization, and modern ABAP programming techniques. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP applications on the HANA platform while ensuring optimal system performance and seamless integration across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions on SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.

- Develop and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

- Build and enhance data models using CDS Views and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).

- Develop and consume OData Services to support SAP Fiori and external application integrations.

- Analyze and convert legacy ABAP developments into HANA-optimized solutions following SAP best practices.

- Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and code optimization for HANA-based applications.

- Develop integrations between SAP modules and external systems using standard SAP technologies.

- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, quality guidelines, and best practices.

- Support system upgrades, migrations, testing, deployment, and post-production activities.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developments and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Experience in HANA code remediation and legacy code conversion.

- Knowledge of SAP development tools and transport management processes.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.

- Exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

- Knowledge of SAP BTP and extensibility concepts.

- Experience with integration technologies such as IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs.

- Exposure to Agile project delivery methodologies.
