Job Description : SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA & RAP)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a high-performing SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development and modern ABAP concepts. The ideal candidate must have end-to-end implementation experience - specifically in Greenfield projects - and expertise in CDS Views, RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model), OData Services, and OO ABAP.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Core Development :

- Design, build, and deploy high-quality SAP ABAP solutions across standard ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

2. RICEF & Enhancements :

- Build complex RICEF objects, implement BADIs, User Exits, and utilize the SAP Enhancement Framework.

3. Modern ABAP & APIs :

- Develop modern CDS Views, RAP applications, and custom OData services for SAP Gateway integration.

4. Interface & Integration :

- Build integrations using BAPI, RFC, BDC, ALE/IDocs, EDI, and Web Services.

5. Forms & Workflows :

- Design and optimize Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Workflows.

6. Functional Collaboration :

- Partner closely with cross-functional module teams including MM, SD, FICO, PP, and HR.

7. Quality & Performance :

- Execute debugging, performance tuning (ATC, Code Inspector, SQL Trace), and ensure optimal code execution before transport management.

8. Support & Deployment :

- Support end-to-end testing, release deployments, and ongoing production support.

Must-Have Requirements & Skills :

- Experience : 5+ years of dedicated SAP ABAP experience with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation/migration project.

- Project Type : Mandatory hands-on experience in Greenfield S/4HANA projects.

- Technical Skills : SAP S/4HANA, OO ABAP, RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Gateway, RICEF, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reports.

- Performance Optimization : Debugging, ATC, Code Inspector, SQL Trace, and Transport Management.

- Education : B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or a related field.

- Availability : Immediate Joiners preferred or candidates with a maximum notice period of 15 to 30 days.

Good-to-Have Skills & Certifications :

- Skills : SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, REST APIs, ABAP on HANA, Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.

- Certifications :

1. SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver

2. SAP Certified Development Specialist - ABAP for SAP HANA

3. SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Fiori Application Developer
