Role Overview :

As a Core SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions within the SAP environment for our clients.

Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand their requirements and translate them into robust and efficient ABAP code.

You will be a key player in ensuring the successful delivery of SAP projects, directly impacting the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients' business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain complex ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms, to meet specific business requirements.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP code, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support, to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals, to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ABAP developers, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in SAP ABAP development, including experience with ABAP Workbench, data dictionary, ALV reports, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement framework.

- Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and efficient ABAP code.

- Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration points, particularly with MM, SD, FI, and PP.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Minimum 7-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and implementation projects.
