Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site SAP ABAP Consultant role based in Delhi, OH. The SAP ABAP Consultant will design, develop, and maintain custom programs and enhancements within SAP, collaborating with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Daily responsibilities include coding, testing, and debugging ABAP programs, creating and optimizing reports, and working with interfaces and data structures. The role also involves participating in code reviews, performance tuning, documentation, and providing support for issue resolution and system improvements.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong skills in ALV Reports for developing and optimizing custom SAP reports.

- Candidates should possess experience with User Exits for implementing enhancements without modifying standard SAP code.

- Candidates should possess hands-on skills with BAPI for integrating and interacting with standard SAP business objects.

- Candidates should possess expertise in IDoc for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting SAP data interfaces.

- Candidates should possess proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) within ABAP for building modular and scalable solutions.

- Solid understanding of core SAP modules and business processes, with the ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants.

- Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and unit testing of ABAP programs.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment.
