Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on development expertise and proven experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical knowledge of ABAP development, client interaction experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications across multiple SAP modules.

- Participate in ECC to S/4HANA migration and conversion projects.

- Design, develop, and support RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- Develop and enhance SmartForms, SAP Scripts, Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancements Framework.

- Build and support interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.

- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues using advanced debugging techniques.

- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for developments.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

- 8 to 10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.

- Strong experience in ECC to S/4HANA Conversion/Migration projects.

- Deep understanding of ABAP programming concepts and RICEF development.

- Expertise in :

1. Reports

2. Enhancements (User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs)

3. SmartForms

4. SAP Scripts

- Working knowledge of SAP Interfaces.

- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

- Experience in EDI and SAP Workflow.

- Client-facing implementation/support experience.

- Excellent technical documentation skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience in S/4HANA custom code remediation and optimization.

- Knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData, or SAP Fiori integrations.

- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.

- Experience working in global implementation or support projects.
