Role Overview :

As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions to meet our clients' unique business requirements.

You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions within the SAP ECC environment.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of these solutions and contributing to the overall success of our SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) to support business processes.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing of ABAP developments to ensure quality and functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related issues to maintain system stability and performance.

- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on ABAP-related topics to enhance their understanding and utilization of SAP functionalities.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer and system understanding.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement ABAP solutions within the SAP ECC environment.

- Proven expertise in developing reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP programming language.

- Strong understanding of SAP functional modules and their integration with ABAP development.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment in Chennai.
