Role : IT (SAP Transformation Finance ERP) II Gurgaon II WFO II 8+ years

1. Role Overview :

The Head IT (SAP RISE Finance ERP) will be a senior leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end strategy, implementation, governance, and ongoing optimization of SAP RISE with SAP S/4HANA Finance for a large NBFC. The role will ensure financial system robustness, regulatory compliance, scalability, and alignment with the organization's digital and business transformation agenda.

This position will act as the single-point owner for Finance ERP across the enterprise and will closely partner with the CFO, Finance Leadership, Risk, Compliance, and external auditors.

2. Key Responsibilities :

2.1 SAP RISE & Finance ERP Strategy :

- Define and own the SAP RISE with SAP S/4HANA Finance roadmap for the NBFC

- Drive cloud-first ERP strategy aligned with business growth and regulatory needs

- Lead ERP modernization, simplification, and standardization initiatives

- Ensure optimal utilization of SAP RISE services, SLAs, and governance model

2.2 SAP S/4HANA Finance Ownership :

- End-to-end ownership of SAP S/4HANA Finance landscape

- Oversee configuration and design of General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable & Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting & Cash Management, and Cost/Profit Center accounting

- Enable real-time financial reporting, group reporting, and faster close cycles

- Drive adoption of SAP Fiori and embedded analytics

2.3 NBFC Finance, Risk & Regulatory Compliance :

- Ensure full compliance with RBI guidelines, Ind AS, Companies Act, and audit norms

- Oversee NBFC-specific accounting including loan accounting, interest accruals, ECL/provisioning models, NPA recognition, and treasury accounting

- Partner with Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams for regulatory reporting and inspections

2.4 Integration & Enterprise Architecture :

- Own integration architecture between SAP Finance and Loan Management/Origination Systems (LMS/LOS), Collections, Treasury, and regulatory reporting systems

- Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and system controls

- Work with SAP, hyperscalers, and middleware providers under RISE model

2.5 Program, Vendor & Stakeholder Management :

- Lead large-scale SAP programs including implementation, rollouts, and upgrades

- Manage SAP partners, Big-4 firms, and system integrators

- Govern budgets, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones

- Act as senior IT SPOC for internal audit, statutory auditors, and regulators

2.6 Operations, Security & Governance :

- Establish strong IT governance, controls, and audit readiness

- Ensure data security, access controls, and segregation of duties

- Oversee L3/L4 support and production stability

- Drive automation, controls, and continuous improvement

2.7 Leadership & Team Management :

- Build and lead high-performing SAP Finance IT teams

- Mentor senior managers, architects, and functional leads

- Promote collaboration between IT and business teams

- Drive change management and user adoption

3. Required Skills & Expertise :

3.1 Technical & Functional :

- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO)

- Strong understanding of SAP RISE operating and commercial model

- Experience with Group Reporting, Central Finance, and advanced analytics

- Strong understanding of integrations, controls, and enterprise architecture

3.2 Domain Expertise :

- Extensive experience in NBFC / BFSI finance operations

- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, Ind AS, GST, TDS

- Experience working with regulators, auditors, and boards

4. Experience & Education :

- 15 - 25 years of overall IT / ERP experience

- Minimum 8 - 10 years in senior leadership roles

- Multiple SAP implementations preferred (at least one S/4HANA)

- B.E./B.Tech with CA / MBA Finance / CMA preferred

5. Certifications (Preferred) :

- SAP S/4HANA Finance

- SAP RISE with SAP

- Leadership or program management certifications
