Role Overview :

The Salesforce Release Manager will serve as the central authority for the deployment lifecycle, ensuring the integrity and stability of the Salesforce ecosystem. In this capacity, you will bridge the gap between development teams and business stakeholders, orchestrating complex release cycles across multiple environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the health of the CI/CD pipeline, mitigating deployment risks, and ensuring that all code and configuration changes align with enterprise standards. Your work directly impacts the velocity of feature delivery and the overall reliability of the platform for end-users.

Key Responsibilities :

- Orchestrate end-to-end release management processes to ensure seamless deployment of Salesforce updates and enhancements across production and sandbox environments.

- Manage the CI/CD pipeline using Copado to automate deployment workflows, reducing manual errors and accelerating the release cadence.

- Oversee version control practices using Git to maintain code integrity, manage branching strategies, and resolve merge conflicts effectively.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers and administrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and adherence to release best practices.

- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to align release schedules with business requirements and minimize service disruptions.

- Conduct thorough impact assessments and regression testing protocols to safeguard existing platform functionality during new deployments.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of release notes, deployment logs, and environment configurations to ensure audit readiness and operational transparency.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Salesforce release cycles with 8 to 10 years of professional experience in technical environments.

- Advanced proficiency in Copado for Salesforce DevOps, including pipeline configuration, automation, and environment synchronization.

- Strong command of Git for version control, including branching, merging, and managing pull requests in a collaborative development setting.

- Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams, providing guidance on release strategy and conflict resolution.

- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical release risks and timelines to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.

- Analytical mindset to troubleshoot deployment failures and implement proactive measures to improve system stability.

- Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team environment, adapting to varying time zones and collaborative workflows.

- Valid Salesforce and Copado certifications required
