About the Opportunity

Scripting Resumes- is partnering with a Salesforce consulting organisation to identify a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect based in Chennai. This role is open to both full-time employment and contract engagement.

The selected candidate will be the primary technical and client-facing resource for Marketing Cloud implementations - owning solution design, pre-sales support, and delivery oversight from initiation to go-live. This is a high-ownership, client-interfacing role suited for a practitioner who can lead independently without hand-holding.

The role offers remote working with working hours aligned to UK business time.

Job Description :

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and solution design

- At least 2 years of client-facing experience in a consulting or architecture capacity

- Proven track record supporting pre-sales activities including technical scoping and live demonstrations

- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, platform features, and integration capabilities

- Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification(s) - mandatory

- Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor developers and technical team members

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable at senior client levels

- Hands-on configuration capability with ability to step in when needed

- Commercially aware - ability to identify growth opportunities within client engagements

- Available to work consistently during UK business hours

Key Responsibilities :

- Support the sales team during pre-sales engagements, including technical scoping sessions with prospective clients

- Contribute to the creation of implementation proposals and solution quotes

- Present product demonstrations and address technical queries during sales conversations

- Lead solution design for Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE), Marketing Cloud Engagement (MCE), Marketing Cloud on Core/Next, and Data Cloud implementations

- Serve as the primary client-facing resource across the full project delivery lifecycle

- Oversee and guide a developer responsible for configuration and build activities

- Perform hands-on configuration work when required to maintain delivery quality

- Deliver end-user training to client stakeholders and platform administrators

- Identify and communicate development or expansion opportunities within client accounts

Good to Have :

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud

- Experience working with UK or European client organisations

- Background within a Salesforce SI partner environment

- Exposure to multi-cloud Salesforce implementations

- Familiarity with GDPR and data compliance requirements
