Job Description:

We are looking for a visionary Senior AI Developer with 10+ years of experience to drive the next generation of intelligent automation and agentic AI within our enterprise ecosystem. In this role, you won't just write code; you will be the architect of how humans and AI work together.

You will bridge the gap between core Salesforce engineering (Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud) and modern, AI-assisted development paradigms using GitHub Copilot. As a senior leader, you will design autonomous AI agents, optimize our Salesforce metadata using LLMs, and pioneer internal prompt-engineering methodologies to supercharge our engineering teams delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI & Agentic Architecture (Salesforce Ecosystem):

- Design, build, and deploy autonomous, conversational, and proactive AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce and the Einstein 1 Platform.

- Implement and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud data streams to ground AI models, ensuring real-time context and highly accurate vector searches (RAG).

- Build custom trust policies, guardrails, and masking rules within the Einstein Trust Layer to ensure secure handling of sensitive enterprise data.

2. Advanced Development & Integration:

- Write scalable, efficient Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Python/Node.js microservices to extend native Salesforce AI capabilities.

- Integrate Salesforce with external LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock) via secure APIs, middleware (MuleSoft), or custom-built connectors.

- Architect custom Prompt Templates within Salesforce Prompt Builder to automate complex business workflows.

3. AI-Assisted Engineering (GitHub Copilot Champion):

- Champion the adoption and optimization of GitHub Copilot (and Copilot Chat/Extensions) across the development lifecycle.

- Establish organization-wide best practices for code generation, automated unit testing, documentation, and refactoring using Copilot.

- Train and mentor junior developers on advanced prompt-engineering techniques for code generation to reduce technical debt and maximize velocity.

4. Technical Governance & DevOps:

- Lead code reviews and design audits to ensure AI-generated code meets strict security, performance, and Salesforce governor limit benchmarks.

- Integrate AI validation steps and automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline (Salesforce DX, GitHub Actions).

- Monitor AI agent performance, token utilization, and accuracy metrics, continuously fine-tuning prompt templates and models.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

Core Salesforce:

- Apex, LWC, Salesforce DX, Flows, Security/Sharing Architecture.

Salesforce AI & Data:

- Agentforce, Einstein Prompt Builder, Data Cloud, Einstein Trust Layer.

AI Developer Tools:

- Expert-level proficiency with GitHub Copilot, Copilot Workspace, and GitHub Actions.

AI & LLM Concepts:

- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain).

Integrations:

- REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, MuleSoft, or equivalent enterprise middleware.
