Position Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Health Cloud, OmniStudio, and Sales Cloud/Service Cloud to design, build, and support scalable Salesforce solutions for healthcare and member/patient engagement use cases. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare business requirements into robust, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions. Exposure to Agentforce implementation is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and declarative configuration.
- Build and maintain OmniStudio artifacts - OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards - to automate care management, enrollment, and service workflows.
- Configure and extend Health Cloud data models (Patient/Member records, Care Plans, Care Programs, Provider data) to support case and utilization management use cases.
- Implement and support Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud functionality, including case management, omni-channel routing, workflow automation, and reporting/dashboards.
- Participate in requirements gathering and technical design sessions; translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or Platform Events.
- Write and maintain unit tests, ensure adequate code coverage, and follow secure development and DevOps best practices (version control, CI/CD, sandboxes).
- Troubleshoot and resolve production defects with timely root-cause analysis.
- Support release management activities including deployments, regression testing, and post-release validation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and configuration runbooks.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and evaluate emerging capabilities such as Agentforce for potential adoption.
- Ensure all solutions comply with data privacy, security, and healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA where applicable).
Required Skills & Experience :
- 3 - 5 years of overall Salesforce development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, including data model configuration and care management use cases.
- Strong hands-on experience with OmniStudio (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards).
- Solid experience implementing and/or supporting Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong command of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flow, and Salesforce declarative tools.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits.
- Experience with integration tools such as REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, or Platform Events.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional and distributed teams.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Agentforce implementation or other Salesforce AI/agentic capabilities.
- Experience in a health plan, payer, provider, or broader healthcare/managed care environment.
- Familiarity with HL7/FHIR standards and EHR/EMR integrations.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps/release tooling (Copado, Gearset, Git-based CI/CD).
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
- Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional
- Salesforce OmniStudio Developer / Consultant
- Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Agentforce Specialist (or equivalent), a plus
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
