Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Experience: 68 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Customize Salesforce applications based on business requirements using declarative and programmatic development.

- Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.

- Build reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components following Salesforce best practices.

- Design and develop Visualforce pages where required for legacy applications.

- Configure Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, Process Builder, Flows, page layouts, profiles, permission sets, and record types.

- Implement Salesforce solutions from scratch, including data modeling, security configuration, and application setup.

- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for business users and management.

- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, WSDL, Named Credentials, and middleware tools.

- Perform data migration and data loading using Data Loader and other ETL tools.

- Participate in solution design discussions and recommend scalable technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Required Technical Skills:

- 68 years of Salesforce development experience.

- Strong expertise in Salesforce Lightning Experience.

- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Experience developing Lightning Aura Components.

- Strong programming experience with Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Future Methods, Queueable Apex, and Scheduled Apex.

- Experience with Visualforce Pages and Controllers.

- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration:

1. Custom Objects

2. Custom Fields

3. Validation Rules

4. Workflow Rules

5. Flows

6. Approval Processes

7. Process Builder

8. Page Layouts

9. Profiles & Permission Sets

- Good understanding of Salesforce Security Model.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Model and Sharing Rules.

- Experience working with Reports and Dashboards.

- Good knowledge of Salesforce APIs, REST, SOAP, WSDL, and integration patterns.

- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.

- Understanding of Salesforce deployment tools such as Change Sets, ANT, Salesforce DX (SFDX), or CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.

- Knowledge of SOQL and SOSL queries.

- Experience with Data Loader and data migration activities.

Preferred Skills:

- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (mandatory/preferred).

- Platform Developer II certification is an added advantage.

- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud.

- Knowledge of Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) is a plus.

- Exposure to Marketing Cloud or CPQ is an advantage.

- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

- Experience managing interactions with stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
