Salesforce Data Cloud Developer

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven applications and solutions. The role involves working across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC)from architecture design to deployment while leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities to unify, process, and activate customer data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design scalable and high-performance solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP)

- Define data models, data ingestion strategies, and data unification processes

- Collaborate with architects to design end-to-end data-driven solutions

- Develop and configure solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud integrations

- Build data pipelines, data streams, and calculated insights

- Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code (Apex, APIs, integrations where required)

- Implement data ingestion from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, external APIs, data lakes)

- Work on identity resolution, segmentation, and data harmonization

- Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with other Salesforce and third-party platforms

- Perform unit testing, system testing, and data validation

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and data-related issues

- Participate in CI/CD processes and deployment activities

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability

- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and bug fixes

- Work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and cross-functional teams

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications

- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint plannin

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Customer Data Platform - CDP)

- Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)

- Experience with data modeling, segmentation, and activation

- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs

- Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, and data integration frameworks

- Strong knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts

- Familiarity with JSON, data transformation, and APIs

- Experience with data ingestion, identity resolution, and customer 360 solutions

- Knowledge of data lakes, big data technologies, or cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred)

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Hands-on with version control (Git), CI/CD tools

- Understanding of testing frameworks and deployment processes

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment

- Salesforce certifications (Data Cloud, Platform Developer, etc.)

- Experience with Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, or personalization tools

- Exposure to AI-driven customer insights and analytics

- Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and data governance (GDPR, etc.)
