Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (CG Cloud) Lead with strong techno-functional expertise to design, develop, implement, and support Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions. The role requires a combination of hands-on Salesforce development, functional solution design, technical leadership, DevOps/CI-CD, integrations, and production support.

The ideal candidate should be able to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, lead technical discussions, work closely with business stakeholders, and provide guidance to development and support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud solutions across business processes including Account Management, Retail Execution, Visit Planning, Promotion Management, Order Management, Direct Store Delivery (DSD), and Indirect Sales.

- Act as a Consumer Goods Cloud subject matter expert, providing guidance on platform capabilities, solution design, and best practices.

- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical Salesforce solutions.

- Design and customize CG Cloud data models, user interfaces, workflows, and business processes.

- Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Flows.

- Develop automation and reusable Salesforce components while ensuring maintainability, performance, and scalability.

- Lead technical solution design discussions and conduct architecture and design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

- Design and manage integrations with external applications using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.

- Collaborate with middleware teams and support integration technologies such as MuleSoft where applicable.

- Implement appropriate error handling, logging, monitoring, and integration controls.

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development and deployments.

- Work with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.

- Establish Git-based branching and version-control practices and automate deployment, testing, and validation activities across environments.

- Lead production support activities including incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, bug fixing, and enhancements.

- Manage Salesforce releases, patches, upgrades, deployments, and environment readiness.

- Monitor application performance and ensure compliance with Salesforce security, governance, and development best practices.

- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews for developers and support teams.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, Business, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure successful end-to-end delivery.

- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development and delivery processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Salesforce development, consulting, or techno-functional solution delivery.

- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud (CG Cloud).

- Good understanding of CG Cloud business processes including Retail Execution, Visit Planning, Promotion Management, Order Management, DSD, and Indirect Sales.

- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, and Salesforce security model.

- Good understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, automation, integrations, and scalability.

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and deployment automation.

- Experience with Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.

- Strong understanding of Git, branching strategies, automated deployments, testing, and environment management.

- Experience designing and implementing REST/SOAP integrations with external systems.

- Exposure to middleware technologies such as MuleSoft is preferred.

- Strong experience in production support, incident management, debugging, RCA, and performance optimization.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to lead technical discussions, solution design workshops, and cross-functional delivery activities.

Preferred:

- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Consumer Goods Cloud, or relevant Salesforce Architect certifications.

- Experience in the FMCG/CPG industry.

- Exposure to Salesforce mobile applications and offline capabilities.

- Experience leading Salesforce implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives across multiple environments.
