Role Overview :

Design, develop, customize, and maintain eCommerce storefronts on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC). Build scalable and reusable solutions using SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture) and its extension model.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop server-side and client-side functionality using JavaScript (ES6+), controllers, models, middleware, and B2C Commerce Script APIs.

- Create and maintain dynamic storefront pages using ISML templates, content assets, and page designer components.

- Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CRM, and marketing platforms using the Service Framework, REST/SOAP APIs, OCAPI, and web services.

- Configure and manage Business Manager, including sites, catalogs, promotions, inventory, search settings, jobs, and content management.

- Develop and support scheduled jobs, data replication processes, and import/export operations using XML, CSV, and catalog feeds.

- Implement and customize OCAPI hooks, cartridge development, custom middleware, and platform hooks.

- Ensure secure API integrations using OAuth 2.0, RESTful services, JSON payloads, and authentication protocols.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting production issues.

- Deploy code across environments using Git, CI/CD pipelines, code versioning, and SFCC deployment best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, QA, Product, and Business stakeholders.

- Monitor application performance and optimize storefront speed, caching strategies, search refinements, and page load times.

- Follow coding standards, unit testing practices, security guidelines, and code-quality processes.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.

- Strong expertise in SFRA architecture, cartridge development, and customization.

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery, and B2C Commerce Script API.

- Strong understanding of OCAPI, Jobs Framework, Service Framework, ISML, Business Manager, and data management processes.

- Experience with Git, Bitbucket/GitHub, Jenkins/Azure DevOps, and deployment workflows.

- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth 2.0, web services, and integration patterns.

- Experience working with catalogs, promotions, search, inventory, pricing, and customer management modules.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience delivering, supporting, or enhancing at least one live SFCC storefront implementation.

Preferred Skills :

- SFCC Developer Certification.

- Experience with Page Designer, Einstein recommendations, and SEO best practices.

- Exposure to Headless Commerce, PWA Kit, SCAPI, or Composable Commerce concepts.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.
