Salesforce Architect - Apex Programming

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead our integration and data enrichment strategy across Salesforce and external systems. In this role, you will leverage your deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, APIs, and third-party integration tools to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will play a key role in guiding technical decisions, mentoring developers, and driving impactful business outcomes across teams.

What You'll Do :

- Use deep expertise in Salesforce integration architecture to design and implement scalable, secure integrations with third-party systems.

- Recommend build vs. buy solutions and guide teams on when to use declarative vs. programmatic approaches.

- Develop high-quality, scalable Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration code following Salesforce best practices.

- Perform code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and mentor team members in engineering excellence.

- Break down large, complex, cross-system projects into actionable technical designs and deliverables.

- Collaborate with developers, admins, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align architecture with business goals.

- Define and enforce standards for SDLC, testing, CI/CD, multi-environment management, and DevOps practices.

- Drive a culture of maintainability, scalability, and quality throughout the engineering organization.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of professional Salesforce development experience, including full lifecycle implementation.

- Strong experience consuming external APIs from Salesforce and exposing Salesforce data via REST, Bulk, Streaming, or Pub/Sub APIs.

- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python, or Java for backend or integration development.

- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud providers (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge, etc.).

Salesforce certifications including :

1. Platform Developer I

2. Platform Developer II

3. Salesforce Technical Architect (CTA or equivalent experience)

- Mastery of Apex, asynchronous processing, governor-limit-safe patterns, and Salesforce security models.

- Proven experience building production-grade Lightning Web Components (LWC).

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, code review processes, automated testing, version control (SFDX/Git), and multi-environment deployment strategies.

- Familiarity with Salesforce native and third-party developer tools (SFDX, VS Code, Data Loader, CI/CD frameworks).

- Experience advising teams on declarative vs. programmatic approaches and implementing best-practice architectural patterns.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java beyond Salesforce use cases.

- Experience integrating external applications using Lightning Containers, Canvas, or micro-frontend patterns.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong SQL skills and ability to perform data investigations in modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
