Salesforce Agentforce Developer

Experience Required:

5 - 10+ years in Salesforce development with 1+ year with Salesforce AI/Agentforce.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Agentforce Developer to design, build, configure, and deploy AI-powered agents that improve customer, employee, and operational experiences. The role will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, and Salesforce teams to translate business requirements into secure, scalable Agentforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and configure Salesforce Agentforce agents, topics, actions, instructions, and guardrails.

- Integrate agents with Salesforce data, Flows, Apex, APIs, Knowledge, Data Cloud, and external systems.

- Build reusable agent actions using Flow, Apex, and declarative Salesforce capabilities.

- Define agent conversation journeys, escalation paths, human handoff processes, and exception handling.

- Configure grounding using Salesforce Knowledge, CRM data, Data Cloud, and approved external sources.

- Ensure AI agent solutions adhere to security, privacy, compliance, and responsible-AI standards.

- Collaborate with business teams to identify, prioritize, and document high-value agent use cases.

- Develop and execute unit, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing for agent capabilities.

- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and post-production enhancements.

- Create technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Strong hands-on Salesforce platform experience, including Lightning Experience, Salesforce configuration, Salesforce Flow, Apex, and SOQL.

- Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein capabilities, or other conversational AI / generative AI platforms.

- Experience designing automation and orchestration using Salesforce Flow and Apex.

- Understanding of prompt engineering, AI grounding, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI guardrails.

- Experience integrating Salesforce with external REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.

- Salesforce APIs and integrations.

- Security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security.

- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and written/verbal communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
