Saksoft - PHP Lead - Zend Framework

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced PHP Lead who will be responsible for leading backend development initiatives, designing scalable solutions, and mentoring a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP (Zend Framework), cloud technologies, and modern application architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using PHP (Zend Framework).

- Architect and implement robust backend solutions and APIs.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using CSS and jQuery.

- Develop and integrate APIs and data solutions using Python where required.

- Work extensively with Microsoft Azure cloud services (App Services, Service Bus, Event Hub, CI/CD pipelines).

- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and code quality.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience in PHP (Zend Framework).

- Good understanding of front-end technologies (CSS, jQuery).

- Experience in Python scripting and API development.

- Hands-on experience with Azure native services.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and database design.

- Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.

- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
