We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud platforms.

This role focuses on strengthening infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes-based deployments, and system reliability in AWS environments.

You will work closely with development, SRE, and platform teams to streamline deployment workflows, enhance observability, and ensure operational excellence across production systems.

Your Role :

Responsibilities and Duties :

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.

- Deploy and operate Kubernetes-based microservices in production environments.

- Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure design, automation strategies, and DevOps best practices.

- Own production monitoring, incident management, emergency response, and root cause analysis.

- Drive automation initiatives to eliminate manual processes and improve existing tooling.

- Implement and manage observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, and/or Splunk.

- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in microservices-based architectures.

- Partner closely with development teams to build and integrate highly reliable and resilient solutions.

- Write and maintain infrastructure-related code using Python, Linux Shell, and Groovy as required.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

- Design and implement secure cloud networking architectures, following security and compliance best practices.

- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical production systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or related software engineering role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub).

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.

- Hands-on experience with production monitoring, incident response, and RCA.

- Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python, Shell, or Groovy.

- Solid understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Good understanding of cloud networking and security fundamentals.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive operational mindset.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Good to Have / Preferred Skills :

- Experience or exposure to Akamai or CDN technologies.

- Background in large-scale enterprise or consulting environments.

- Familiarity with advanced SRE practices and reliability engineering frameworks.
