Position Summary :

We are looking for a Cloud Engineering Architect with strong expertise in Java backend development, cloud-native architecture, and AWS engineering.

The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, resilient, event-driven microservices platforms on AWS while providing architectural leadership and technical governance.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience in Java (817), Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS, along with proven experience modernizing enterprise systems into cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and design scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Redshift, Glue).

- Lead microservices and event-driven architecture implementations using Java and Spring Boot.

- Drive monolith-to-microservices modernization initiatives.

- Define API contracts, domain models (DDD), and integration patterns.

- Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.

- Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

- Ensure system scalability, performance tuning, resilience, and cost optimization.

- Provide architectural leadership, mentor engineering teams, and enforce coding standards.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of strong Java backend development experience.

- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.

- Hands-on AWS experience (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway).

- Strong experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, scalability, and resilience patterns.

Preferred :

- AWS Certification.

- Experience in large-scale enterprise or financial platforms.

- Exposure to OLAP/Data Engineering (Redshift, Glue).

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience.
