S/4 HANA & OTC Architect

Job Title : SAP S/4HANA OTC (BRIM) Architect

Experience Level : 10-15 Years

Location : Remote (Occasional Travel)

Notice Period : Immediate / Short Notice Preferred

Role Objective :

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA OTC Architect with deep expertise in SAP BRIM to lead the design and implementation of subscription-based billing and revenue management solutions for a large-scale, multi-country transformation program. The role focuses on end-to-end architecture, integration, and governance aligned with Clean Core principles.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Solution Design :

i. Lead end-to-end BRIM architecture across SOM, CI, RAR, CC, CM

ii. Design subscription-based and usage-based billing models

iii. Define integration with FICA, FI, CO, SD and external systems

iv. Ensure adherence to Clean Core (BTP, APIs, BRFplus)

- Integration & Extensibility :

i. Architect integrations using SAP CPI and API-first approach

ii. Design event-driven and real-time integration patterns

iii. Enable side-by-side extensions using BTP

- Data Migration & Cutover :

i. Define migration strategy for billing and contract data

ii. Lead cutover planning, mock runs, and reconciliation

iii. Ensure data consistency across BRIM modules using ODI

- Governance & Stakeholder Management :

i. Collaborate with global business and finance stakeholders

ii. Drive fit-gap analysis and design decisions

iii. Present solutions to architecture and governance boards

- Team Leadership :

i. Lead and mentor BRIM consultants and developers

ii. Provide guidance during build, test, and go-live phases

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- BRIM Expertise (Mandatory) :

i. 5+ years of SAP BRIM experience

ii. Minimum 2 end-to-end S/4HANA BRIM implementations

iii. Strong expertise in :

a. SOM, CI, RAR (mandatory)

b. CC, CM (preferred)

iv. Hands-on with FICA and ODI (Order Distribution Infrastructure)

- S/4HANA & Finance Knowledge :

i. Strong S/4HANA architecture understanding

ii. Experience with RAR and revenue recognition (IFRS 15 / ASC 606)

iii. Knowledge of OTC and subscription billing processes

- Integration & Technology :

i. Experience with SAP CPI, APIs, OData

ii. Strong exposure to BTP and Clean Core principles

- Program Experience :

i. Experience in large-scale, multi-country S/4 programs

ii. Exposure to global templates, multi-currency, and localization

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP BRIM / S/4HANA Certification

- Knowledge of SAP SD, FI/CO integration

- Experience with ABAP on HANA / CDS (basic)

- Exposure to MDG or SAP Analytics Cloud

Performance Indicators (KPIs) :

- Successful delivery of BRIM architecture with minimal customizations

- On-time implementation across global rollouts

- Accurate billing and revenue recognition compliance

- Smooth integration and stable post go-live performance
