Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with strong hands-on experience in building and scaling client-facing applications. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of backend development, clean coding practices, and real-world project execution.

Note: Candidates who have primarily worked on platform-based development environments (e.g., Builder.ai or similar) will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Rails 7+

- Design and build robust backend systems with clean architecture

- Integrate and manage third-party APIs

- Work with background processing tools like Sidekiq

- Optimize performance and ensure high availability of applications

- Collaborate with frontend teams and contribute to basic UI using HTML, CSS, ERB/SLIM

- Write reusable, efficient, and maintainable code

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Ruby on Rails (Rails 7+)

- Hands-on experience with Sidekiq for background jobs

- Good understanding of Redis and PostgreSQL

- Working knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, ERB/SLIM

- Solid understanding of meta-programming in Rails

- Experience in integrating third-party APIs

- Knowledge of RESTful architecture and MVC design pattern

Candidate Requirements :

- Must have worked on end-to-end client projects (product/service-based or service companies)

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Understanding of application performance optimization

- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
