Software Specialist :

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Software Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you'll be crucial in maintaining our software systems, ensuring data integrity through regular backups, and providing essential technical support to minimize downtime.

You'll work closely with our Head Office IT team to implement effective problem-solving strategies and support various software projects.

Responsibilities :

- Perform and verify daily backups of critical databases, including MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL, to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Provide timely and effective technical support for software breakdowns and issues, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions to minimize operational disruption.

- Coordinate closely with the Head Office IT Team to escalate complex issues, share insights, and collaborate on problem-solving methods and long-term solutions.

- Offer comprehensive software support for various projects, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user assistance.

- Document all support activities, solutions, and procedures to build a robust knowledge base.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and systems.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 2+ year of experience in a software support or specialist role.

- Educational background : B., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Computer Science), or a Graduate with demonstrated Computer Hardware Knowledge.

Skills & Competencies :

- Proficiency in database backup and restoration procedures for MySQL, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for various software applications and operating systems.

- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and their interaction with software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and Head Office IT.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
