Job Title : Network Lead Administrator (L3) - Data Centre & Security
Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Coimbatore
Employment Type : Full-time | Permanent
Experience Required : 6 to 10 Years
About the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Lead Administrator (L3) with strong expertise in enterprise network operations, troubleshooting, and implementation across large-scale environments. This role requires hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, Data Center technologies, SD-WAN, and Network Security platforms.
The candidate will act as an individual contributor responsible for resolving complex network issues, ensuring high availability, and supporting critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Data Center)
- Perform advanced troubleshooting (L3 level) for network incidents and outages
- Configure and maintain routing and switching environments
- Work on SD-WAN deployments and operations
- Handle network security devices such as Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS
- Manage and troubleshoot wireless infrastructure (WLC, Access Points)
- Ensure network uptime, performance optimization, and incident resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for implementation and upgrades
- Participate in change management and incident management processes
- Provide root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents
Required Skills & Technical Expertise :
Networking :
- Strong experience in Routing & Switching (R&S)
- Hands-on with Cisco and Aruba devices
- Knowledge of protocols : BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, STP
Data Center :
- Experience with Data Center network architecture
- Spine-Leaf architecture knowledge is a plus
SD-WAN :
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela / Meraki preferred)
Network Security :
- Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
- IDS/IPS concepts
Wireless :
- Configuration & troubleshooting of WLC and Access Points
- Vendors : Cisco, Aruba, Juniper
Tools & Platforms :
- Cisco tools and monitoring systems
- Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- ITIL-based ticketing systems
Soft Skills :
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently (Individual Contributor role)
