Job Title : RF System Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented RF System Engineer to design, analyze, and validate RF subsystems and architectures for wireless products. You will work across hardware, firmware, and test teams to ensure optimal RF performance, compliance with regulatory standards, and integration into larger SoC or module platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and develop RF system architectures, including transceivers, LNAs, PAs, mixers, and filters.

- Perform system-level analysis of RF signal chains and link budgets.

- Support RF performance simulations using tools like ADS, MATLAB, or SystemVue.

- Collaborate with IC design teams to guide specifications and performance trade-offs.

- Assist with RF lab validation, tuning, and characterization using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.

- Support antenna integration, RF matching, and coexistence testing.

- Validate system performance across temperature, process, and voltage corners.

- Contribute to documentation and compliance testing for FCC, ETSI, and other standards.

Required Skills :

- Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless system architectures, and analog/mixed-

signal design concepts.

- Experience in RF simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB) and lab validation.

- Hands-on with RF measurement equipment (spectrum analyzer, VNA, oscilloscope, signal generator).

- Familiarity with wireless protocols such as LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, or UWB.

- Knowledge of matching networks, S-parameters, impedance tuning, and RF filtering techniques.

- Proficiency in scripting (Python/Matlab) for test automation and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications :

- B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering.

- Experience in RF front-end or transceiver design at board or SoC level.

- Exposure to RF regulatory and conformance testing.

- Knowledge of antenna design/integration, MIMO, beamforming, or coexistence testing.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
