We are looking for an experienced REXX Developer with expertise in IBM z/OS environments, storage management, and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with REXX programming, Broadcom OPS/MVS automation, IBM storage technologies, and mainframe infrastructure administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions using REXX in IBM z/OS environments.

- Design and support Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules for system monitoring and operational efficiency.

- Administer and optimize IBM enterprise storage infrastructure, including IBM DS8000 (DS8K) and IBM Virtual Tape Server (VTS).

- Manage storage allocation, data lifecycle, and capacity planning using DFSMS storage management components.

- Implement and support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using DFDSS, FDR, and storage replication technologies.

- Monitor storage utilization, analyze capacity trends, and recommend optimization strategies.

- Troubleshoot storage, automation, and system issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.

- Develop and maintain utilities and automation scripts for operational support and system administration.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams to ensure high availability and reliability of mainframe environments.

- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system standards.

Required Skills:

- 510 years of experience in IBM Mainframe development or system programming.

- Strong hands-on experience with REXX programming on z/OS.

- Experience developing and supporting Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules.

- Strong knowledge of z/OS, DB2, and SQL.

- Hands-on experience with IBM DS8000 (DS8K) and IBM Virtual Tape Server (VTS) storage technologies.

- Experience with DFSMS, including Data Class, Storage Class, and Management Class configuration.

- Expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions using DFDSS, FDR, and replication technologies.

- Experience with storage monitoring, capacity planning, and performance optimization tools such as Vantage and FDR.

- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.

- Good understanding of mainframe storage architecture, system performance, and operational best practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with z/OS system administration and storage performance tuning.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise production support.

- Knowledge of automation and monitoring tools within IBM mainframe environments.

- Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments.

Education (Mandatory):

- Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
