We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Support Engineer to manage, support, and enhance enterprise identity infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Active Directory administration, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Windows Server environments, along with exposure to cloud platforms like AWS and virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities :


- Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) infrastructure across multiple domains/forests


- Configure and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs)


- Perform Domain Controller (DC) migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning


- Handle AD replication issues, DNS, and site topology management


- Administer and support IAM tools such as SailPoint and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)


- Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access lifecycle


- Implement RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and access governance policies


- Integrate AD with enterprise applications and cloud systems


- Administer Windows Server environments (2012 to 2025)


- Perform patching, upgrades, and performance tuning


- Manage services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and File Services


- Monitor system health and ensure high availability


- Support hybrid infrastructure with AWS (EC2, RDS) integration


- Manage AD integration with cloud services (e.g., AWS Directory Services)


- Work with virtualization platforms like VMware (vSphere, ESXi)


- Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives


- Implement and maintain AD security best practices


- Conduct audit reviews, access certifications, and compliance reporting


- Manage privileged access and identity governance


- Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory security policies


- Monitor AD infrastructure using enterprise monitoring tools


- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management


- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures


- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base

Required Skills & Expertise :


- Strong expertise in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)


- Deep understanding of GPO, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos authentication


- Experience in DC migrations, forest/domain consolidation


- Hands-on with SailPoint / MIM / IAM tools


- Strong knowledge of Windows Server (20122025)

Cloud & Infrastructure :


- Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, IAM basics)


- Knowledge of Hybrid AD / Azure AD (preferred)


- Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization


- Strong L3 troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments


- Familiarity with tools like PowerShell scripting for automation


- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SCOM, Nagios)


- Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID


- Microsoft Certified : Windows Server / Azure Administrator


- AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps


- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)


- Exposure to Zero Trust / Identity Security frameworks


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management


- Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment (if required)


- Documentation and process-oriented mindset


- Experience in enterprise or large-scale IT environments


- Exposure to multi-domain, multi-forest AD setups


- Experience working in ITIL-based support models
