Job Title : Backend Architect (Web API & Microservices)

Location : Hyderabad, India (In-office)

Experience : 2+ Years (Targeting Senior/Lead level)

Core Stack : .NET 6/8, ASP.NET Core, MS SQL Server, Microservices

Role Summary :

As a Backend Architect, you will be the technical visionary for our core API ecosystem and asynchronous worker services.

You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance technical execution.

You aren't just writing code; you are designing the patterns that ensure our services are resilient, decoupled, and highly scalable.

Key Responsibilities :

- System Design : Define the architectural roadmap for Microservices and Worker Services, ensuring high availability and low latency.

- API Strategy : Architect and maintain robust RESTful APIs and gRPC communication layers for internal and external consumption.

- Technical Governance : Establish coding standards, architectural blueprints, and security protocols for the backend engineering team.

- Distributed Processing : Design and optimize background processing systems (Worker Services) using message brokers and task queues.

- Performance Engineering : Identify bottlenecks in SQL Server performance and .NET memory management, providing architectural fixes.

- Mentorship : Act as the "North Star" for the development team, conducting deep-dive code reviews and architectural workshops.

Technical Requirements :

- Expertise : Deep mastery of C# and .NET Core/5/6/8+.

- Microservices : Proven experience in service discovery, API Gateways, and circuit breaker patterns.

- Data Modeling : Advanced MS SQL Server skills, including complex indexing strategies and performance tuning.

- Messaging : Experience with asynchronous messaging (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka).

- DevOps/Cloud : Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines in an Azure or AWS environment.

- Documentation : Ability to translate complex designs into clear architectural diagrams and technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.

- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB) for caching and high-speed data retrieval.

- Prior experience in a "Player-Coach" or "Team Lead" capacity within a product-based environment.
