RELX - Site Reliability Engineer - Azure

Role Summary :

Build, operate, and scale reliable systems on Azure with a strong focus on DevOps, automation, and CI/CD reliability.

This role ensures production stability through observability, container orchestration, and secure-by-default practices, working closely with Platform and Security teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of production systems on Azure

- Build automation to reduce operational toil using Python, Go, Java, or C#

- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices

- Operate and support Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads

- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability (metrics, logs, traces)

- Improve incident management, on-call, and postmortems

- Partner with Security teams to embed security controls, secrets management, and compliance into the SDLC

- Support release safety, rollbacks, and infrastructure reliability

Required Skills :

- 5+ years in SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering

- Strong experience with Azure cloud services

- Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation

- Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C#

- Working knowledge of security, secure SDLC, and compliance

- Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills
